As we thought about our divine characteristic of Strength (that ability to endure, stay the course, persevere), our SpiritRise Songwriting Workshop group found itself attracted to the idea of our greatest strength being our ability to hold on to our true identity and nature as spiritual beings, even as we face this often challenging and storm-tossed human experience. As we hold on to that truth, returning “back to the place I was born, where my heart feels right”, we are at home, wherever we are, body, mind, soul… Hugs, Kim-Char
House a Home

My attention wanders once-in-while, but that’s okay;
I don’t stray too far – always making my way
Back to to the place I was born, where my heart feels right,
A familiar voice calling me inside…
My house won’t fall though winds may blow
My house is standing tall though storms may seem to come and go
My house is more than flesh and bone
Spirit, ouuuu you are what makes this house a home _______.
Brick upon brick, thought upon thought, with Truth my cornerstone
Standing firm upon a Rock, along a holy road;
I am the place where Love resides;
This Inspired Self, revealing it’s Light (CHORUS)
Leaning into Love, letting go of fear
Holding onto all that I am, and all we are building here… (CHORUS – 2x)
